We will provide detailed instructions on how to flash Stock Rom or any custom ROM of any Andriod smartphone using smartphone flash tool ( SP flash tool) on windows pc
How to Flash stock ROM and firmware using smartphone flash tool
- download and install USB driver on your computer, if the driver has been install on your pc earlier then don’t bother installing them again, skip this process
2. power off your phone and remove the battery if the battery is removable
3. download the stockrom or custom ROM you wish to flash on your android smartphone and extract it to your pc
4. Now download sp flash tool from the link below or skip this if you already have it installed on your computer

5. Now open flashtool.exe with is on the sp flash tool folder
6. Upon launching the sp flash tool click on download tap
7. Now click on the scatter loading button and load the scatter
8. Load the scatter file from the stock ROM folder
9. Click on the download buttton to start flashing
10. now plug your phone into your pc without the battery if its removable, then press the volume up or volume down key so that the phone can easily be detected by the computer, insert back the battery and wait for the flashing process.
11. once the flashing is completed you will see a green pass mark pop up, you can now boot the phone
12. Your phone is fully flashed and is running the stock ROM you downloaded
TAKE THIS NOTES:
- After flashing the stock ROM on your MediaTek phone you might need to write the imei either by using mobile uncle tool or flashing the imei with SN tool with your computer follow the instructions on how to write IMEI with SN flash tool
- DO not that flashing will delete all your personal data, you wish to keep them, then back up before flashing
Note that the tutorial above works only with stock roms and custom ROMs that come with scatter files which are basically mtk devices
